This is my relief tile. I had some trouble with this because I tried to make the star and the seashell out of a mold but the star ended up not looking as great as I wanted it to. And adding the little foot steps of the birds was a last minute decision. This was one of my first actual projects and I dont think that It turned out too bad. One thing that I would change on what I did wold be how I layed the seashell and the star and if I would do it again I would make them smaller.
This is the very first thing that I ever did in this class. I found it fairly easy but I think that I needed to make the bottom way less thick and the sides a little more even. One thing that i would change would be the thickness of the bottom of the pinch pot. Over all I think that I did good but Ive definitly improved since I made this.
This Is my 2 pinch pots put together. and this is the only photo I have or it which i know Im supposed to have more but I had just joined this class so I didnt really know that I was supposed to do that, but Im getting better at it. for this I found that where I had combined the 2 pinch pots there was an indent so I filled it with clay and made it smooth. One thing that I had trouble with is making the 2 pinch pots the same sides. And I realized that the sides and the bottom are a lot thicker that I would like. One thing I would change would be how thick the sides and bottom are because I think that it made it look bulky.
This is my pinch pot turned into something useful and I made it a mug. When I was looking at it from my angle it looked even and good, Burt once I looked at it from a different angle I realized that it wasnt really even. One thing that I found difficult was finding a way to attach the handle, I knew that I needed to slip and score it which I did but I needed to smooth out the parts that attach to the cup and I was having trouble with that.
